A quick word about room controllers: I’m not a fan of room controllers. Completely unnecessary if you still have some kind of visualization somewhere. The actuator controls the regulation anyway, it takes up space on the wall, and the programming effort is noticeably higher. Considering that the underfloor heating is not constantly adjusted anyway and it’s pretty much irrelevant whether you can read the temperature in every room at any time. On top of that, the Jung room controllers KRM TS D are really horrible to operate.
We found the ones from Jung very pleasant compared to Busch Jäger.
My favorite was MDT, but our electrician advised me against it (I can’t quite remember the reasons)... Gira was also an option, but several home builders and general contractors advised me against it, as there are constant complaints about it, which I can’t quite imagine.
The nice thing about KNX is that I can change all the switches if I eventually don’t like them anymore.
As always, purely a matter of personal taste.
