A quick word about room controllers: I’m not a fan of room controllers. Completely unnecessary if you still have some kind of visualization somewhere. The actuator controls the regulation anyway, it takes up space on the wall, and the programming effort is noticeably higher. Considering that the underfloor heating is not constantly adjusted anyway and it’s pretty much irrelevant whether you can read the temperature in every room at any time. On top of that, the Jung room controllers KRM TS D are really horrible to operate.

Hmm, I actually find it charming to have only one "control unit" and not have to place several buttons or the like on top of each other again. Otherwise, I agree with you. A display is not absolutely necessary, but it makes you extremely flexible. Without a display, I would probably have the rocker switches laser-cut. However, that requires extremely good planning and is also more expensive.

Maybe I’m missing something, but could you please explain again the difference between KNX actuators and installation devices? Not all of them are decentralized actuators, right?

For the installation devices, e.g. all sockets inside/outside are taken into account, all spotlights, step lights, and general lighting (attic, garage)

for the actuators, all Jung products are listed (gateway, smart-visu, blinds and heating actuator, etc.)
