Thank you for your feedback!
What is the main reason you want to lay water?
The main reason is that we want a kitchen layout with a row on the left wall and a peninsula in front (as shown in the pictures).
And that it is not feasible to connect at the original location.
How long is the island, where do you work? Where do you put appliances?
Will the kitchen be handleless? I ask because the panel to the left of the fridge should/must only be 16mm thick.
The island is just under 2m long and has a depth of 1.5 cabinets (95cm). If you stand in front of the stove, you have the normal cabinet body on one side, and on the other side (facing the living room) you have three "half-depth" cabinets with 35cm depth.
The only "fixed" appliances we have are a small coffee machine and a water carbonator, which will go to the left of the sink.
The kitchen will be handleless except for the fridge and dishwasher, since we did not like the look of vertical handles.
My tip ... the two tall cabinets next to each other, so fridge, then the special cabinet with the dishwasher below and oven above. Then towards the window the base cabinets with wall cabinets.
With a width of max. 290 cm the two towers on the right and left with the relatively narrow gap look a bit strange.
Thanks also for your input! But we prefer the symmetrical version with towers on the left and right.
As hanghaus2023 also pointed out, this is not feasible due to the water meter.
Supply & drainage pipes are to be laid, but the water meter remains in the original location.
I am really overwhelmed by the number of your responses, thanks!
However, the kitchen layout is fixed for us. We have planned the kitchen intensively over a period of 2 months and obtained opinions from various kitchen studios. For us, this is the optimal kitchen given the circumstances.
The only question is how the water pipe routing should be designed and if anything needs to be considered regarding the stove connection box and the socket to the left of the current water connection.
