I find 16sqm too big without structure

in addition with a glass wall...

.. I would actually divide some areas, e.g. with a small wall or a pedestal.
Although many people like large empty rooms, everything along the wall and a dance hall in the middle is rather impractical.
You don't want to walk that much distance in the bathroom.

: I partly agree with you, but personally, I would find a complete T a bit too "tight". What I can well imagine is a masonry T at the bottom and then glass placed accordingly on top. I would also tend not to plan 16m² for a bathroom, but this more or less results from the floor plan here.

I think if you take the suggestion with the T and instead of masonry place glass from half height, that could indeed become very nice.

I would build up 2 meters high without glass. Lime then accumulates there. Here is an example... I had 2-3 other variants before, but they probably don't appeal to you. Here would be a window strip appropriate, which has the dimensions of the side part on the ground floor, just rotated and flush with the right view side

I would make an L instead of a T solution, this way the shower becomes deeper and there is enough space for it. In such a large bathroom, it feels uncomfortable if everything is arranged at the edges and there is nothing in the middle.

It might also be important to know where the downpipe for the wastewater is planned... this is important for the toilet position - the shorter the distance, the better!

Hello,

thank you very much already for the great suggestions.

I hadn’t really thought of the idea of structuring before, but it definitely makes sense to consider it. The T-design looks nice on the plan, since there is even space left for a bigger closet. However, I haven’t seen something like that in real life yet (especially regarding brightness in the shower/toilet corner).

I don’t quite understand the "L" thing yet. Where exactly would the sink go then?

: With your suggestion, I’m not quite clear how the window is supposed to look or where exactly it is? Should it stay as in my plan or move further to the right / with the same sill height?

I haven’t given any thought to the position of the waste pipe yet. On the ground floor, the kitchen is supposed to be under the bathroom. There, the sink will presumably be located roughly in the middle of the room on an island. That means, as I understand it, the waste pipe could presumably be on either the left or right wall in one of the corners. Most likely in one of the street-side corners in order not to hinder the furnishing of the kitchen below.

In terms of room size, perhaps a slight reduction by pushing down the upper wall would make sense. This would allow for a larger dressing room and/or bedroom. At the very top, I did post the floor plan of the first floor. But I don’t think the square meters there would bring any incredible benefit.

Best regards,

Christian
