We had our old house demolished. That was about 80 sqm plus a small basement of about 8 sqm. However, we gutted it ourselves because doors, windows, and roofing (metal) are still needed by my sons for sheds and animal shelters. For the demolition of the remaining masonry and the refilling, we paid about 20,000 euros. We could have had it cheaper (14,000), but we wanted it done by the contractor who is also building the house. On the one hand, because it was about seamless continuity for us (we have to be finished as quickly as possible because we are currently living in a container on the property), on the other hand, because in case of any problems (cracks or similar in the masonry), no one can shift the blame onto the other.
Phew, that somehow sounds different from the 30,000-35,000 that were estimated unseen by one of the house builders for us. If you are currently still living in the construction trailer, I can understand that all the more. But it's the same for us, having everything from one source would have the advantage that no one can shift the blame onto the other. Only, so far we haven't found anyone who wants to demolish and build (only build and recommendations on who might be suitable for the demolition). May I ask who you are doing this with ?
in discussions with the first two general contractors, the fireplace, electric shutters, and KfW-55 were included (city villa with 2.50 m ceiling height) at this price per sqm. Unfortunately, one builds according to the construction service description but no garage and no terrace, and the other ignores my request for a construction service description. Therefore, I can't say much more. Both don't want to do the demolition.. so it's somehow a bit difficult right now.
