How wide is the shower there? I am currently facing a similar problem: In our new house, there will be a shower niche. About 100cm deep and 130cm wide. Shower on the right when standing in front of it. At the moment, there is a curtain in front, but we want to have a glass element. When looking at niche doors that swing, the doors are usually about 58-68cm wide if there is a fixed glass element next to them. A door with 130cm width is unfortunately not possible because the distance to the opposite wall is too small. My wife has also mentioned that this would probably be too little for her. Would a walk-in solution, like in the picture above me, perhaps be conceivable? Or is the width also too small for that?

We have one meter and no element, because of cleaning. Only curtains. That is very convenient and inexpensive as well.

Do you happen to have a picture or drawing of it for exact understanding? We had 2 different showers built here back then and the smaller one is, for example, 120cm deep and 100cm wide, and the whole thing without glass or curtain. On the wall side, we have a fixed glass part about 25cm wide that protects the door. Of course, this - as always - also depends on personal (showering) behavior.

The blue thing symbolizes the position of the shower fitting. Just quickly grabbed Paint.

A swinging door would have cost three times as much. Our shower is 1.40m (length) x 1m (width).

here again a top view of the children's pool. 1.40m x 1m.

At 1.30, one could also consider the walk-in.
