If you want it that way, then just do it like that. However, I would leave the door (you can just put a shelf against it). If it is a solid wall, then tearing it down is not a walk in the park. Because of the beam as well, I would have a professional take care of it. If it were mine, I would probably allow myself to slightly enlarge the kitchen "towards the front" and then turn the dining table. What kind of partitioned thing is that by the kitchen? Is it really like that or wishful thinking? Actually, that's where the chimney flue is.

For the sofa, I would make sure that none of the doors are blocked. So the balcony and sliding doors. Better to forgo the double door and mirror the sofa vertically.

Should that become a fixed window on the west side? But directly opposite is exactly the neighbor's house. I would save the money. But I would also like to enlarge and install fixed glazing.

Is the bathroom in its current state?

I had the same consideration regarding the wall. Only I had planned 2 sliding doors, each 1 meter made of glass.

What is correct here? Is it 1 m or 0.5?

Why not leave everything as it is, the bedroom will then be quite small.
