The TV "always bothers" insofar as living rooms nowadays have to be arranged in a TV-centered way. It's crazy that humanity has spent only the last 50 years planning how to position all the other furniture so that one can comfortably watch an entertainment device of about one square meter from multiple perspectives. This is not media criticism, but admittedly a first world problem. We are affected by this too, but have solved it with a projector and a retractable screen. ;)
