At Westwing, you can have a room planned for a small amount of money … Maybe also an idea I’m more of a country house faction now but even I like your room It’s not that bad. It just lacks color on the white wall, maybe check out Alpina there as already suggested … and then a nice (acoustic) picture

Hello, I would like to thank everyone who has given me so many wonderful suggestions. I haven't been able to try everything yet, but I will simply show you a rearrangement of how things currently stand. However, without new furniture and wall color. The couch is modular, so we just separated it. The TV should still be a few sizes smaller and placed on the wall between the two windows.

Since my husband also insists on having a TV in the living room, I can perhaps give you a tip: There is a manufacturer from South Korea (I will leave out the name, as I do not know if this would be understood as unauthorized advertising) who produces, among other things, televisions that are translated from English to German simply as "frames." They are very stylish and have a motion detector. When someone approaches, the screen does not show the usual black-on-black, but an image that you can select yourself from a huge database. They are naturally available in different sizes, and since this TV is extremely thin, it really looks like a picture on the wall.

Reduce the shrine of the media god and push it out of the optimal viewing axis?! If you want to provoke eternal wrath, broadcast disruptions, and bad internet... I wouldn't do it!

In my opinion, rooms in normal standard houses with TVs, if it’s not a separate TV room, can’t be arranged comfortably. The TV always "somehow" disturbs. But some of us have no choice (currently in I-make-a-sacrifice-for-my-marriage mode). ;-)

Hello you two! I know the TV that looks like a picture/ painting, let's see if it doesn't break the budget. You mean reducing the size of the TV would be fatal!? My husband has already come to terms with it and now sees the TV as a big black hole.
