Lighting of long narrow living-dining area in terraced mid-terrace house

By the way, I have the toilet under the stairs. That saves a lot of space in the entrance. Would that be an idea for you? Your entrance area seems a bit tight to me, especially with children.

Is the entrance in the basement? Or the bathroom? For the daily jacket-and-shoes chaos that you inevitably have with children, the entrance could never be wide and big enough for me.

I also like the idea of the daylight panel lamp, we'll see if we can do something with it.

Nowadays, something like that exists. I haven't seen it yet. We had a detached house and there was a floor-to-ceiling window at the dining table. But a nice picture that gets some lighting is also nice. Or those high-gloss wall pictures, like slides: with an abstract picture on them or a stylish motif would also be possible – you just have to make sure it doesn't look kitschy.

The solutions from CoreLux are almost daylight-like. We had a simpler solution in our terraced house with a ceiling light with 8 pendants in a row. Coziness and warmth were created by the wooden dining table illuminated from below.
