How exactly does the robot run over the boundary wire

Every robot runs over the wire and turns over the wire, then drives back. On the Gardena, the housing extends about 25cm beyond it, and mowing is done about 15cm over the wire. The value is adjustable on the mower and differs with each company. That is why the wire, once laid, can only be used with the same mower. The distance to obstacles, beds, and edges is specified by the manufacturer. Read the instruction manual online before laying the wire and buying the mower.

The guide wire may only be connected to the boundary wire at the end. And you give the starting points from the station in meters, e.g. at 5, 15 and 25m. That works, otherwise as in your sketch.
