Which Cat cables should be installed on the facade? Problems with moisture?

Connected to TAE or how?

Who knows. Maybe you’ll need it then to network your robot vacuum, self-cooking microwave, or care robot, or to communicate with your grandchildren via 16K video calls.... :)

Regardless of the fact that a cable is always the best solution, I just want to note for the record that Powerline can definitely be an alternative. The biggest problem is certainly that you only know what you get when it is plugged in. Many factors come into play. Quality of the line, length… It can work very well but also very poorly. We supplied our old apartment with it for many years, for example, it worked very well there. But as I said, just for the record.

Yes. At the moment I don't have a picture on hand.

Care robot? There was something about that ... :D
8k is already on the rise. But 60 MBit surely isn't enough for that :(

Our neighbor has such a Powerline "thing" and says it works "quite" well for him. To test it now, I would have to order hardware from the "big river" for example and possibly return it. But I would prefer to avoid that. The same neighbor would also support me with his "electrical" and craft expertise. This very neighbor knows the electrical installation in our house quite well by now and has already shaken his head a few times. I can only assess that in a very amateurish or not at all way.

No, you need the "Mind 50TB" connection (TM) because your consciousness is now hanging in the cloud and you want to control your various surrogates through the different worlds...

CAT cables in the facade plastering were installed 20 years ago in the rental building where I lived. Netgear switch in the basement, from there a cable to every room with an exterior wall in each of the 4 apartments. The network connection was back then installed in apartment 1 on the ground floor via DSL splitter and then routed down (also over the exterior wall) to the basement. The system still works today ;).

Sounds reassuring :)

Here is a photo of the house connection:

Primitive, but functional. Upstairs in the living room there is another TAE where the router and telephone are connected.

I took a closer look at the front of the house. The cable routing will be problematic because the canopy and window are in the way.
