Can already be controlled well. But not with cheaper models. Which high-quality robotic mower does not have guide wires? Top models from Husqvarna have 2 or 3 guide wires. But they also use boundary wires. Guide wires are mainly for the trip to the areas and back.

Well, I have a model from Kress and I am very satisfied with it.

Thanks in advance for your answers. The favorite would be a Gardena Smart Sileno. The idea would now be to connect both areas with a narrow corridor (60cm). For this, the corridor should run along the right side of the terrace coming from below, then under the pool, and then between the pool and the garage back onto the main lawn area. This way, it would not drive in the area of the furniture. Do you think this will work?

that was not the question. It's good that you are satisfied. But Kress is far from the top of the lawn mowers.

should work. Every cm of width in the corridor helps.

Somehow we are talking/writing past each other. At first, it was about "higher-quality" lawn mowers. Then about "high-quality" ones, and now suddenly about the "top of the lawn mowers." I have never counted Kress among the top and wouldn't do so. The fact is: the thing does exactly what it is supposed to and even detects obstacles, which it skillfully avoids. This technology is not yet implemented by other "higher-quality" manufacturers. There, a boundary wire still has to be laid around every tree and shrub.

The ultrasound system from Kress works great with trees and hard objects. Unfortunately, it does not work well with some bushes. Other manufacturers have also had ultrasonic sensors for more than 10 years. Only, these do not steer around but slow down almost to a standstill. These, for example, have a fixed SIM card and do not require WiFi, all-wheel drive, mowing capacity >3000m2, etc. It is important that the robotic mower fits the garden. Yours does. Equally important is it for the OP. He needs a mower with a boundary wire so that the mowing time can be distributed according to the areas and the narrow spot can be handled well.
