I also think the money in stocks can benefit the children more later when studying. A car protection box does not have to cost a fortune, even if you do not have it as conveniently as I do outside the field of view. Fundamental inferiority does not arise from a precast concrete garage, and the offers from the mentioned manufacturer do not seem to me to be an exception. Simply plain, and in form only too clear if you want to place it next to a clinker baroque little castle with a half-octagonal dining room bay window. (Where) is the house to be seen here, to which the garage is supposed to match?

As always, I find the garage extremely important. That’s where I tinker with the mountain bikes, have my classic car, my workshop. I’m happy to spend money on that.

But everyone just sets their priorities like that. If I invest the difference between the house repayment and the rent in stocks/ETFs for the next 20-30 years, I can imagine a life in paradise afterwards, with a lavish villa :-P

We also had walls built. However, in the dimensions 7*10.5.

Inside we thus have 6.6m in width and 6 in length.

At the back, there is a small hobby workshop of nearly 4*6.6.

On top, there is a proper tiled roof.

Unfortunately, I cannot say what the thing cost, as it was built simultaneously and thus included in the flat rates offered by the individual trades.

The thing is actually used as a parking space for two cars.

Never again without it. Next time even bigger.

I can understand and confirm that. I did buy, but with a triple garage. One for the trailer and bicycles, one as a workshop and with a scooter and motorcycle, and one for a car including a pit. Above that, separated by a concrete ceiling, an attic. Here I store disassembled original motorcycle parts, a 3x6m pavilion, cables, etc. etc. The usual "needs." I do almost everything on the vehicles myself, which definitely makes it worthwhile. At least for me. As a purely parking space for metal, I would rather get a carport. One car is even parked outside for me. The workshop in one garage is more important. Despite having a basement.
