Large garage single-family house - prefabricated or brick-built?

I have here a prefabricated garage that is almost 50 years old. As far as I can tell, it is free of defects. The roof is tight, everything is dry. Please just call these things double garages, a large garage belongs to .

I think the price difference is huge - but it doesn’t help you in my case. One garage was built with bricks when the Deutsche Mark was still new and I was swimming in the big pond; the prefab garage was built already in the new millennium

That's why we are considering having a garage built if it doesn't completely blow the budget.

We have already been offered the Beton Kemmler large-area garage from zick Generalunternehmen - always priced including foundation, door, window for €25,000.

We also have offers from the companies Ott, Zapf, and Steidle. All are within this price range...

Ours came from ADM-Garagen. We are very satisfied.

However, if a plastered garage does not match the house (in our case it does, since our house is half plastered...), I would have a solid one built and clad in the same style (wood, clinker) as the rest of the house...

If our house were completely clad with bricks, I would also have a solid garage built.

Nothing against a dignified barrack! In our last house, we installed Juwel prefabricated garages with green roofs in 2002. Quite quickly, there were some visible cracks. However, these did not get any bigger over time and could have been filled. Ivy grew on the outside of the garage – that didn’t cause any damage either. My experience with these garages spans over 17 years. I am always surprised at how important garages are. Most vehicles are either worth less than their parking space or are replaced so frequently that it doesn’t matter whether they are inside or outside. Against cold and snow, a parking heater is definitely cheaper. So, what's left are the few real treasures that really need protection and various bicycles and children's vehicles.
