Sorry, but you can only shake your head when people are slowly becoming too stupid to operate their coffee machine themselves. But at least with that thing you can download something from the internet. With the well-known brainless machine from the vacuum cleaner manufacturer, you buy recipes on cartridges. But well, what am I talking about, Toniesbox sends its regards (and I was already wondering who actually buys that hipster stuff).

Do you have children? When I think of Toniesbox, I think of only one thing: Why didn't I come up with this brilliant idea? This thing is MEGA successful and extremely well thought out! It makes everyone happy...children, parents, grandma, grandpa, and of course the inventors. It has only advantages! No more broken cassettes, discs, etc....children can play with it and the box is practically indestructible! The sound is also very good and more than sufficient! Toniesbox is one of the best "children's toys" I have seen in recent years!

Sure. At 2 years old there was a CD player. The first CDs suffered, then they learned. Since this is foreseeable, backups are made from new CDs. Supplies are cheap to free.

So now I really have to stick up for the Toniebox. That thing is awesome. I’ve stood in front of it so many times and thought about it. Precisely because the little ones can operate it themselves. Especially in the car, it’s worth its weight in gold. We’re currently using a CD player. I get the fairy tales from YouTube and burn them, so a scratched CD doesn’t really hurt. But it’s still annoying. And we have that constantly. My son is 3 and has now roughly understood that Holland is in trouble when I catch him at the player. The only problem is that I always have to come running then. Even when he can’t fall back asleep at 3 in the morning and therefore wants to listen to a fairy tale (Yawn, I’m missing an hour of sleep today). I regularly scold his buddies because they think it’s funny to stack multiple CDs in the player. Kids! Now that our daughter is away, we’ll probably get a used box for Christmas. Saves me nerves and burning, and saves my son the tears when his silly sister licks the records again.

Regarding internet-enabled kitchen appliances: Sure, it’s possible without them, but if you enjoy it, have the money for it, and can even save time because of it, why not? Otherwise, we can also talk about the necessity of an alarm system. After all, you can just keep a guard dog like in the old days or alternatively the killer cat.

Really CDs? Poor inventors of the USB stick ... Why should I burn a CD when I can drag and drop copy? There are also very small USB dongles (which are not so easy to break).

I didn’t know Tonies Box at all, but after the Amazon reviews it really is worth considering... what do you think, from when is this thing useful? Our little one will soon be 2 and is currently totally into music... woe betide me if I turn off the internet radio :/
