Understandable approach. My experience is that our boys grow up in a quite different world than I did and, just because of all the computer use, they may need more space in their room. Visits from a few friends should be possible without the parents being in the way. Giving the child the largest bedroom is certainly a smart move.

But you are building yourselves a real monster now. Only that you are not finishing the top floor. You are building a house of over 200 sqm, you just don’t use it. The house will be about 7-8 meters high with a width of 13 meters... haha, my neighbors with their city villas have that, while the foundation slab consumes about 160 sqm for you. That’s not little.

A decent staircase is easy to crawl on. I had to go downstairs. Whoever can't manage the staircase on all fours should sleep where they fall

You have about 45 sqm with 2 m+

Your roof height will be about 3 m depending on the overhang + roof structure + floor ceiling
At 30 degrees

Delicate is something else

Thank you.
I think I really have to have it shown to me graphically tomorrow how it looks with different roof pitches. Everything from 30 to 45 degrees would be possible.

You are at least as tall as a town villa with a flat roof, if not as one with a hipped roof

Take a look at it

I have already understood that. Thanks also for the hints. We (current state of mind) just don’t want an upper floor. That’s simply the idea behind a bungalow. We therefore don’t want a double garage or pools that quickly consume 30 - 50 sqm.
