Tear it out! If the heating, windows, and bathrooms have been done, there is probably no backlog of renovations! It is a bungalow, that can be nicely fixed up. The surroundings also look good...

Yes, for us completely tearing out the wooden cladding would also be an option. I think this will make the rooms much brighter. In the living room, we might possibly want one more window. But before we keep dreaming, we have to wait for the price. We are indeed in a village here, but near [Bodensee]...

The property seems relatively large. When an appraiser comes, the price will blow you away. They mercilessly (and accurately) calculate every sqm.

In the pictures of the dining and the bedroom, I recognize sockets positioned at a height that is no longer common today or has not been for many years. For me (since our '62 build year renovation), this is always the first sign of outdated (possibly no longer expandable, but instead needing to be replaced) electrical installation. Did you have the chance to take a look underneath, that is, the cables themselves? If they are three-core and copper – good. Then, with some luck, you can simply add to it. If they are partly still two-core aluminum (worst case), the walls would have to be completely ...

At first glance, this house makes a reasonable impression; there are definitely much worse from this era of construction (and even those are currently being bought). I fear you won’t have much time to think it over.

The living room and kitchen are once again typical Generation "Oh-that’s-still-okay" and should be completely redone right away. There appears to be parquet flooring in the living room, which is already very good. You just have to see how it looks under the carpets (possibly sanding?). The bathroom I find absolutely acceptable (no bathtub?), I personally don’t find bidets very attractive. You might possibly remove it and rather put another cabinet in the corner. What I would definitely take a closer look at is the roof including the roof structure. If there’s anything wrong with that, it usually can’t wait forever. Otherwise, it naturally also has many advantages: plenty of space, large garden, laundry room/cellar. I suppose not everyone at Lake Constance has that. You can really make something out of it.

I can agree with the previous speakers. Overall, a well-maintained property that you could probably move into - putting personal taste aside (the Gelsenkirchen Baroque style is just downright ugly...). Something has been done to the property, which is positive. Of course, it will still cost a few € to implement your own ideas.

Yes. Either mill into the screed or alternatively tear out the screed and carry out a conventional installation. You probably don’t want to keep the floors (except for the bathroom) as they are.
Price? It depends on whether you want to do the work yourself (removing screed and tiles can easily be done in a weekend by two people) or have everything done by companies.

Normally, that’s not a problem.
