Currently, only the Daikin Prefera FTXM or CTXM series is listed in the offer, but I have asked to also provide the types. We do not want to heat with the devices at all, although the Prefera series with FTXM/CTXM can be found online. The other one is then classified under Cold Region... Daikin also states it this way, I assume the FTXM-K devices and then in the appropriate sizes.

So I checked again and you are right. In the 2020 product catalog they are now called Prefera, in my 2018 one (whoever took my 2020 catalog [certainly the trainee]) they are still listed as Professional.

All good!

Just received a reply, he deliberately left out the kW types because this is a planning-related service and apparently there are people who use that to inquire with other providers. I can understand that, even though I wouldn’t have thought of it myself. Of course, I also don’t want to pay unnecessarily much, BUT what’s more important to me is the overall package. As far as I’m concerned, I have a very good feeling about him, so a Daikin multisplit system should be ordered soon.

I also installed the Daikin Multisplit (however with Emura indoor units) you will not regret it
How many indoor units are you getting?

We are getting 4 indoor units as follows:
Attic:

- Child 1: approximately 12m²
- Child 2: approximately 15m²
- Parents: approximately 16m²
1st floor:
- Living/Dining/Kitchen: 30+22 (Kitchen "open" with a breakthrough of 2.50x2.40)

The outdoor unit will be placed on the roof, and the condensate drainage will largely run down into the basement through unused chimney flues. The ground floor of the parents-in-law does not require air conditioning for the time being, and if it does, it would receive its own outdoor unit. The company that will probably do the work is a local family business (since 1978) and the owner is a trained refrigeration technician and refrigeration master technician.

The KW specifications are not a secret. The first three rooms 2.0 and the other 5.0 should cover everything.
