- How do they want to save on the refrigerant line? Maybe they go straight through the rooms or the others have measured incorrectly
- Working hours are not always an indication of worse work
- Did they offer you the same indoor units? If yes, the statement is nonsense or they want to sell it to you separately. Because the Wi-Fi controller per device is included in the delivery scope of the Prefera devices.

P.S. If you have a home automation system, you can also buy an interface for all BUS systems from Daikin. That lets you adjust a lot more than with the app

: No, the offer is with Remko devices, so they are not comparable anyway. And with Remko, I would have to check what WLAN costs extra. We don’t have a home automation system, our house is from 1900. In theory, we could have installed it, but it wasn’t important to us.

The offer is calculated with 20m, but that hardly makes sense, the rooms that are close by must at least go up to the roof. I rather trust the 30m.

Of course fewer working hours don’t mean worse work, that’s true. But let’s say the extra hours just provide more buffer, but that’s only a secondary factor.

In the end, what’s important to me is that I have a very good feeling with the Daikin offer AND that they can also install it very quickly. You want to benefit from it as much as possible over this summer.

I consider that plenty. In my opinion, 3.5 is enough. On the one hand, the attic is already cooled – most of the cold air probably already falls down the stairwell anyway. On the other hand, I cool 70 sqm living room in an old building with 3.5 kW, half of it directly under the roof... With air conditioners, it’s like with heaters: you want to avoid cycling and rather cool continuously at low power.

A small stumbling block is still the protection of the outdoor unit, where 25A is specified with 2.5mm², better 4mm² supply cable. Unfortunately, the route from the fuse box is not that simple! Strangely, the second craftsman does not demand anything like that and also saw no problems on my inquiry, but actually wanted to include it on the conductor as it is.

But the Remko model is also specified with 21.5A, so I assume that a separate supply line for the outdoor unit (for Daikin it would be 4MXM80N) is necessary, or not?

Yes, you usually always need an additional supply line for the Multisplit (regardless of the manufacturer).

Ok! That speaks against the Remko offer anyway, he didn't require it.

I'll check with the electrician for a solution right away, the only problem is the way to the basement is just annoying. We'll have to open the wall a bit and it was all redone just 3 years ago. The only advantage is that it's hidden in the shoe cabinet... It will be doable!
