I can only go very superficially and vaguely into detail here, but yesterday someone who also works professionally in this field clearly advised against the Gigacube if I want to game. An "adjustment of the NAT type" is apparently not possible and there is no public IP address, so online gaming is not possible. Whether this was just a very general statement and possibly does not apply to all games/consoles/PCs, I cannot answer. A Google search for the problem "Gigacube" "online gaming" brings up many forum entries and help requests, but few solutions. Since the device is offered with a 30-day trial period, it might be worth a try. But I wouldn’t want to commit firmly yet that the Gigacube represents the solution to my internet problems. This also brought very sad faces yesterday at our home, since we do like to game for an hour in the evening.
