By the way, everything is eventually a shared medium on the regular Internet. The crucial point is where it becomes shared and the connection at that point. DSL is, for example, a shared medium from the DSLAM onwards.

We currently only have a 50 Mbps DSL line where effectively 25 Mbps arrive. Fortunately, they are currently laying fiber optic throughout our entire town. They are tearing up the whole town. And today the colleagues with the excavator first catapulted us back to the Stone Age. It's just stupid when the fiber isn't finished yet and they dig through our Telekom line. I was really staring blankly at 10 this morning in the home office. Luckily, I have a SIM card in my computer and could continue working over LTE.
