, you speak from my heart. For years I’ve been living in the gray area, not paying the GEZ. I don’t agree at all that they impose any rules on me. But of course I have the application in the drawer, because when the man comes, I don’t show remorse, but rather say that I was just about to register. I do it similarly with the trash. Are they crazy to charge so many fees? I now have a 20-liter container, of course not enough for the family... I send my husband out at night to take out the trash—where to, I don’t care. Probably into the forest, but I don’t care because I don’t use it. I support you in outsmarting the regulation, mocking the stupid official who stamped the approval on your building permit for your house construction. And mocking us, who comply with the energy saving ordinance. Best regards

I was recently at the same point as you and questioned the ST in my planned construction. With our house build, we would achieve the Kfw 70 standard. Now the architect has informed herself and we can completely do without the ST, I will not apply for Kfw 70, forgo the slightly better interest rate but save about €8,000 in additional costs due to 1. ST with hot water and heating support, 2. low costs for energy consultant and 3. smaller hot water tank (300 instead of 900 liters) without compound interest!

Construction expert and musketeer, I don't understand your problem?! A forum is meant for exchanging experiences and information! Just because this topic obviously doesn't sit well with musketeer and you lack the (unnecessary) insight from futtinger, in my opinion it would be ridiculous to close the thread! As I wrote in the previous post, futtinger's line of thought is absolutely feasible and meets the energy-saving ordinance requirement! Since I am building with the same materials and the same heating method as futtinger & had the conversation with the architect just last week, I know that your accusations are unfounded, so calm down!

You are confusing something. You are leaving out the ST and do not meet the KFW requirements. However, your house still complies with the energy saving ordinance requirements. The KFW 70 status is voluntary so far.
He wants to leave out the ST and would not meet the energy saving ordinance requirements. That is mandatory.

Then the next one comes along and wants to do without any insulation measures, the one after next wants to install a brown coal stove in every room again. Where will we end up with that?

I do not want to forgo the Energy Saving Ordinance but rather the solar system. My initial question was whether it is still possible to comply with the Energy Saving Ordinance due to my structural factors (no ventilation system, no external insulation, etc.).

How did you manage to meet the criteria anyway?
