, the fact that certain information is NOT available online is in my opinion an outdated customer service mentality at IKEA. Here, in my personal opinion, the support a modern company offers its customers is frankly abysmally poor. We are now in the 21st century and I simply expect direct access to the documents I need. I don't want to send an email today and receive information hours or days later. I want to look it up online and be able to read it immediately. And I am sure I am not the only one who expects this. Siemens home appliances offers all the necessary information and documents online and is just one example among many that it can be done differently and, in my opinion, better than at IKEA. And there, they even offer extensive written operating manuals in every imaginable language and you don't have to struggle with the proverbial IKEA pictogram manual. Best regards, fotokatze

For many devices, assembly and operating instructions can be found on the British Ikea website (in English, of course). Why the service is not available in all countries is not really understandable.
