Did I read something about Vienna? Indeed... unfortunately, you can't see the profile on the phone.

I happen to be in Vienna next week.., no, don’t panic, I’m not coming over
But do you have a secret tip for me, man, and mom?

Yes, taking advantage of the nice weather again and doing garden work...
Still need to remove trees and bushes, cut hedges, compost, etc.

Secret tip regarding what? Culture, hiking, dancing, etc?
Unfortunately, we are not from Vienna ourselves (my wife is from Bavaria, I'm from the area where our land is), but I can still try to give you some tips...

Good morning everyone!

Before the weekend starts and we retreat back to the property, I wanted to give a quick update.

This week we had a conversation with our local Ytong dealer. It was less about the building material itself (we had already thoroughly informed ourselves about that beforehand) and more about planning topics. He gave good input from his side, which we will definitely take into account.

In addition, we are still intensively playing around with different possibilities for how to place the driveway / carport / house most sensibly. Especially taking into account the course of the sun. We have several ideas, and I will try to put them on (digital) paper today and present them to you for discussion.
One option we really like would be to place the carport parallel to the street in front of the house and possibly use it partially as an entrance canopy. I just can’t quite estimate yet how large the turning space and the driveway gate for the car would need to be in front of the house and whether it would be feasible at all...

Ideas and suggestions are, of course, still very welcome!

At the moment, it looks very much like the entrance will be oriented towards the west...
