House placement on a plot on a hillside curve, where will the house be located?

I might have filled out the questionnaire a bit wrong. The budget is not fixed, it is not supposed to be the focus here, rather with which budget I have to reckon for which variant. The neighbor built a bungalow, but it is also a holiday home.

Currently, I have an offer for 460,000 for a reasonably suitable house + basement
Excavation of basement with a friendly excavation company about 15,000
First indication from the landscape gardener (based on my plan for variant 2: paving driveways, retaining wall next to the garage, lawn, terrace, garden edging) 60,000
Additional costs 20,000
Furnishing/kitchen 30,000

I could manage with that. But that would be the next step, if I then have doubts here I will open a thread in the financing section ;-) I am looking for input on what would be the smartest solution to accommodate basement, underground floor, and attic on the plot. Smart in the sense that the terrain costs don’t skyrocket, and the terrain can be designed well and is easy to maintain.

So my suggestion.
Cut

This is how it works, if you want, almost without retaining walls.

A surveyor should at least measure the corners of the property and the manhole cover on the property.

Do you know the plans of the neighbors in [S] and [W]?

If there is supposed to be a basement, that is still possible. It's about 100k more.

I once displayed the max. level with SM. With your version, even with SM, much less comes out.

This also works without retaining walls, then simply pile the excavation in the south and slope it at 1:2 towards the boundaries

Hmm, ok, I'll try to model it.. We need to think again about whether we can come to terms with this variant, meaning that the bedrooms are in the basement. From your point of view, what speaks against variant 2 with the semi-exposed basement?
