In case of doubt about even a single incoming family member: do not buy, as the house then does not fulfill its function of being a good shelter for the lives of its residents.

What the hell is going on here? The only correct answer is: it doesn't matter at all! What kind of superstition or whatever is represented here, this is unbelievable. It's just like homeopathy, the house is shaped by what happens inside it. It's a collection of stones, steel, and many other things; whether ghosts are summoned inside or guinea pigs are bred, the house doesn't care. The fact is, if you think about it for a long time, the next person without these strange whims will buy the house in front of you, and that will be the end of it.

Mhm...this is a difficult situation, to buy or not to buy...

And exactly what writes would be the decisive question for me: what can the house do about it. There are "healthy" houses and unhealthy houses, due to many causes like mold, toxins, etc. The Budapest study by the WHO is quite enlightening: strokes, depression, premature deaths, etc. are more frequent where buildings are not in order. We are currently living in an unhealthy apartment, with significant effects on mood, etc...even our 12-year-old notices the difference in the basic mood among adults...THAT would be my only concern. So I would rather consult a building biologist/architect as a "Ghostbuster" ;) .

I would weigh what appeals to me and where I cause less trouble. An existing property or the new build.

Was an altar server, have a healthy relationship with death. People die, and if you did not know the person, I wouldn't have any "scruples" about buying.

This is also the case here now. 100 people, 100 opinions. It won't get any better. Only YOU YOURSELF can resolve this.

From this esoteric discussion, I take away only one thing: the resulting room for negotiation.

As long as it’s not a village full of hardcore Catholic freaks who really see the house as a penalty for the new residents, I see no problem moving in there.
