Thank you for your answers and tips!

Yes, that’s roughly what we have now also considered. Thanks for the sample calculation!
That helps and already calms us down a lot.

With which software did you create or plan your floor plans including height profiles?

Software: The brain of our architect.
You are already reaching the limits of your imagination. It is unlikely that you yourself are capable of creating a good design for a house on the "three-dimensional" plot. The money spent on an architect / professional is well invested.

Nobody is spreading panic, and 5 meters is not dramatic either. But the average shows that the 5 meters do impose some restrictions. For a terrace, a lot has to be dug up.

Wouldn't that be a perfect plot for a split-level?

Children's rooms with knee walls (wardrobes). Creates storage space for toys and children often "bother" less about sloping ceilings. Above the sleeping area, an attic can also be created. Split-level, however, screams for a good architect and not a prefab house sign-painter.

Maybe the building authority would also allow the eaves height to be 5m facing the street and somewhat higher towards the garden. Then a staggered shed roof as the roof.

The house is from Laux Prefabricated Construction - I found it through Google image search (split level staggered shed roof).

My children would immediately say; Dad, can we install a slide inside?

Visually, it is okay though!
