These discussions are really pointless. I suggest Pareto 80/20. Worked in university, basically works great in life. Photovoltaics on the roof pays for itself, saves 30-35% of the annual demand and hardly annoys anyone anymore (appearance). Sure, it neither solves the annual nor the daily timing problem. That probably won’t change much in the next 15 years. It still somehow delivers a contribution margin to the total electricity consumption in the end. We can't save the world here anyway. And shifting production abroad will at best negatively impact the global balance - but that’s what it will come down to.

We have similar conditions.

House 170 sqm, 2 full floors, basement, including chimney: Gross 670,000
Corner fireplace separately: Gross 17,000

Outdoor facilities, earthworks / excavation not to be forgotten:

Earthworks with clay disposal: 28,000
Outdoor facilities: 30,000

Plan in sufficient buffer. We easily needed 20,000 for things we had not previously considered.

Photovoltaic system? Extremely expensive at the moment. About 30,000, etc.

When comparing cars, you have to keep in mind that an internal combustion engine ultimately has losses. It doesn't have more than 40% efficiency, but a lot of electricity can be used during charging. The complete chain for the electric car has, in my opinion, 80-90% efficiency and is thus significantly better. And why one should convert hydrogen into electricity for a heat pump is also a question. Hydrogen will only prevail for small fields that really need it (trucks, construction machines), but not for applications with a fixed power connection. There the chain is really bad (20-30% IIRC).

When discovering the thread, I had hoped that the OP would chime in again. Instead, starting from page 3 it basically only revolves around how thinks he is the smartest. What a pity!

Yes, that’s annoying squared… one thing is the topic itself, which admittedly offers no added value to the question. The same rambling over and over…. As if you don’t find enough threads here on the topic of gas and so on for your opinion. You also have to read what you are responding to and where the focus of the discussion should be.
