Leave a free pipe section of 20-30 cm somewhere where you install the circulation pump after the inspector is done. You can also do everything overly correctly...
Read a bit more in the pink forum - so with a brine-water heat pump, circulation pumps apparently cause significant losses during operation. I think we will try it without.
no, rather because of the brine-water heat pump - it cycles too much, say the heat pump experts. Especially if you only want to heat the water when the sun is shining (using photovoltaic electricity). But well - if I can also insert that afterwards, that would be a first attempt.
Without such a pump I would not build - it is an essential comfort feature ....
I am deliberately asking provocatively: why is a circulation line needed? When I wash my hands, I don't really care whether the water is cold or warmer; the same applies when brushing teeth. For filling the sink, I also mix hot & cold water. Then there is the shower and the tub - as soon as the stream gets too hot for me, I add cold water. Overall, it makes no difference whether some cold water runs first, which gradually warms up, or warm water flows directly, which I have to temper by adding cold water. Therefore, I cannot see any disadvantage in not having a circulation line.
Everyone is different – although so far I seem to only know people who find cold water annoying.
You can do everything with cold water – 500 years ago no one gave a thought to hot water when washing.
But I don’t like rinsing my mouth with cold water. I also dislike letting the shower run for 30 seconds or more until I can get under it. I also like to wash my hands warm sometimes – in the kitchen I need hot water anyway (with a small child it’s mandatory at first).
And every time I’m supposed to waste precious water that would be nice and warm immediately with a circulation pump? The energy consumption is offset by a photovoltaic system – nice, large storage that is heated hot during the day. Completely free...
As I said, tastes differ and no one has to – but for us it is a comfort feature we don’t want to miss.
