Hello,
I had hoped to get answers beyond the personal understanding of comfort; so I’m not that far off after all
I will soon take a stopwatch into the shower; I don’t - at least by feeling - have to wait 30 seconds before it burns my skin AND I get cold water
I don’t understand that even with 2 - now grown up children ....?
It’s not quite like that; even aside from the question of whether saving water is sensible or not.
A circulation line is included in the calculation of heat loss of a newly constructed building. Installing such a line can nibble away a good 10% of the desired goal.
I don’t want to blame you; I just want to understand it
Rhine greetings

I also don’t like to let the shower run for 30 seconds or more before I can get under it.

(with a small child mandatory for the first period).

And every time I’m supposed to waste precious water that would immediately be nice and warm with a circulation pump? The energy consumption is offset by a photovoltaic system - nice, big storage tank that is heated hot during the day. Completely free...

As I said, tastes are different and no one has to - but for us it is a comfort feature we do not want to miss.
