That is not entirely correct what the construction expert writes - it only applies if the thermal insulation calculation was done without a circulation pump.

You can definitely include one - we easily achieved Kfw70 (although we only insulate quite thinly and use a poor quality brick - we are now at KFW56).

I would not build without such a pump - it is a significant comfort feature, costs hardly anything, and can be controlled over time.

We were calculated for Kfw55 but only need KFW70 for the funding. I have to find out how many seconds one would have to wait. In our energy saving ordinance, it was calculated without circulation, just checked again. How do bigger houses do it otherwise? We have 13 m of pipe length in the bathroom on the upper floor and 7 m to the kitchen. I was thinking about whether something else could have been planned there - but it would have been difficult with the bedroom/parents' bathroom on the ground floor.

Yes, they plan that from the very beginning

Then Epis's assessment is correct in your case - or it will just be recalculated.

A recalculation will be done anyway, since heating and so on were only provisionally recorded.
So in the sense of: are they planning with a circulation pump from the beginning?

Jo

From the beginning, we planned it the way it is now being built - that should definitely be possible. And it is also sensible & cost-neutral.

Sure, there are always changes, but something so central?

However, I don’t see any impossibility of implementation on your end...

The planner probably slipped up there... at least this is the first time we've been approached about it. Do people then know for the next house construction Does anyone have experience with the fungus valve for venting?
