That means, however, if the door opens inward, the passage is definitely only about 60 cm wide. Whether such a plan makes sense can actually only be assessed depending on the overall kitchen planning. Everything else is a general discussion.

I am attaching the kitchen floor plan. The pantry was only 5.5 sqm after all - my apologies. The depth cannot be seen on the plan, 1.51 m!
An 80 cm door would be possible with the company Häcker. I don't even know in which directions they open now. I hadn't considered this point.

The door opening should remain at this location. As I said, a sliding door or a normal door would also be an option. Although I wonder if that looks really good.

In this case, it would almost be irrelevant in which direction it opens. Outward or inward toward the wall, then it can also remain open without causing any disturbance.

Visually, I would definitely prefer a door integrated into a tall cabinet rather than having the kitchen depth extend up to the sliding door as dead space. Even with an overhead unit, in my opinion, that would look stupid.

About 60cm clearance width (with a 70cm door) is already quite tight, but it certainly wouldn’t kill you.

The room would be without windows?! I ask: what do you want to do or store in this room? Are there really that many devices and supplies? When I look at the space opposite, where the wardrobe is supposed to go (I think), I would divide the space into "more wardrobe and less pantry." Otherwise: a door in the corner itself would not be disturbing, having the cabinets pass through would have an aesthetic advantage. But I would reconsider the entire corner. The kitchen now basically has a side corridor, which would not have a nice effect.

For light use, 80 cm is also possible. At that spot, it doesn't matter whether it opens inward or outward, as long as it opens towards the wall. I find sliding doors impractical; my parents have them, and I don't find them easy to open, especially when you have something in your hand.

Yes, the pantry has no window. Does it have to have one? Supplies, microwave, drinks, cleaning utensils, and a considerable amount of wine bottles are supposed to be stored there. Electrical appliances at most a small refrigerator for drinks, but no freezer. The house will have no basement.

Yes, the wardrobe is supposed to be behind the pantry (next to the WC). We currently have a Pax closet where jackets and shoes are kept. 1.50m wide. It fits there. At the moment, I am at a loss as to how I could enlarge the wardrobe by reducing the size of the pantry.
