With us, this was previously discussed with the screed layer. After he knew that we wanted different floor coverings (tiles and parquet), the screed was installed at different heights in the respective rooms. In the finished state, everything is now at the same height.

Hello,

the screed thicknesses were also adjusted on our end so that everything is on the same level with the finished floor coverings.

I don't understand what is meant by the rails. For the others, the screed thickness was simply adjusted.

However, screed thicknesses are to be adjusted in the mm range. What am I supposed to explain to you now? You already know it anyway...

Of course that works. See my post above.

With us, tiles and parquet are exactly at the same height because the screed was applied at different heights.

Tiles including adhesive are, I believe, 12mm thick and parquet including adhesive 17mm thick. The screed was applied with a 5mm height difference.

In an area where it ranges between 3-5mm, there are tolerances - no screed layer guarantees that. With design flooring and tiles, it is certainly different, as there is already a clear height difference that can be accounted for.

The floor layers can achieve a level surface afterwards if they know how. I don't see a problem with us because the parquet is glued very thinly and the tiles are glued a bit thicker - then you have at most a 1-2mm edge and that is covered anyway with a rail.
