Heat pump not available - funding gone?

I don't want to speak for or against heat pumps with this, just think that it's not a valid argument to argue with the number of followers.

Yep... I've dealt with the topic for a long time and there is simply no way to operate heat pumps in winter without massively storing electricity that was overproduced in summer. The sun shines a maximum of 1/3 of the day in winter and the wind also blows less strongly in winter.

It doesn't work with photovoltaic panels on your own roof alone. But we will soon experience live that this will fail spectacularly.

How exactly do you store enough electricity for 40 million heat pumps when there are 8 hours of cloudy skies in January and the wind isn't blowing?

You get electricity from wind turbines. But much smarter than storing electricity is storing heat in well-insulated houses.

I base my opinion on feasibility studies, e.g. from [Fraunhofer ISE]. Gas will have to be produced for industry alone.

The Fraunhofer Institute assumes in 3 out of 4 scenarios that it will be under 5 percent. In the worst case, it is 15%, at least when it comes to process heat, where I would now locate most of the gas.
