I don't want to speak for or against heat pumps with this, just think that it's not a valid argument to argue with the number of followers.
Yep... I've dealt with the topic for a long time and there is simply no way to operate heat pumps in winter without massively storing electricity that was overproduced in summer. The sun shines a maximum of 1/3 of the day in winter and the wind also blows less strongly in winter.
It doesn't work with photovoltaic panels on your own roof alone. But we will soon experience live that this will fail spectacularly.
