Have Unitymedia house connection installed directly?

depending on how tech-savvy you are, it is a lucky situation for you that two lines are available to you. In case of a fault, your internal network will then be supplied with WAN via the second line. If this should not be an issue for you, I would only order the Telekom line + the empty conduit for later fiber optic.

They were just taken over by Vodafone, so a lot will happen in the near future. I would also technically say that you can actually save yourself the Telekom connection. But then you would have to have the cable installed immediately. Price-wise, it would probably be the same as if you now lay Telekom + empty conduit and later on (cheaper) the cable into the house. Be sure to also take the empty conduit for fiber optic. Couldn't the cable connection actually go in there too?

That should be sufficient, our empty conduit for fiber optics doesn’t have more either, but we have two. Later, the fiber optic cable will be blown in.

That is why I also advocate laying UM right away and cutting Telekom. The medium is simply outdated.
