Put the garage on the property line next to the neighbor in the east and that’s it. I would definitely not build it in the west. Do you want to get as close as possible to the neighbor with your house? You are lucky to have a neighbor only in the east, take advantage of that and place the house as far away from the border to him as possible.

Hello,
In general, the garage in the northwest is correct. If the garage is located in the east, it ends up looking like a large parking lot.
Question: Why are parking spaces marked in front again? Do you have 4 cars or is that a requirement in the development plan?
If that is a requirement from the development plan, I would consider a carport, which can then be placed much closer to the street. A garage forecourt is simply dead space and is basically useless.
Behind it comes a 3*3 shed and that's it.

My suggestion would be more like this.

Best regards,

Andreas

Since when has it been possible to build a carport directly on the street?

Not directly, but very often 2-3 meters are enough. For example, it’s like that with ours... Reason: with a carport you can always drive straight in and your car disappears from the street without having to stop in front and open a garage door first. That is usually the reason why you have to plan a complete parking space in front of a garage.

Andreas

3m is something else, you always have to maintain that to public areas, there is no boundary construction there. But as already said, I would avoid anything that pushes you closer to the neighbor in the east than necessary.

We have 8.5m distance (house wall to house wall) to the neighbor and I already find that quite tight. If I had the chance for 15m...
