But with the plot width, it doesn't have to be a boundary garage ;) It's also very good if you can walk around it.
And this plot can also afford the wider garage. It makes it much easier to park bicycles etc. and also to quickly push them out for use.

I advocate for variant 4 --- 28 m width - 2x3 m boundary distance - 9 m garage leaves 13 m width for the house.
Protected southwest corner and with a terrace there is a nice distance to the neighbors, the sun can enter the house from all sides.

The terrace is then "shady" from 6:00 pm. This may be desired, but often in summer people like the sunset, which takes place in the NORTHWEST. Now it certainly depends on the exact orientation of the property. I hardly believe that the street is exactly oriented east-west.

Rather from 7 p.m. onwards. Part of the seating area is supposed to be covered anyway, the roof could be nicely done right in this corner and another part of the terrace extended further south. For enjoying the sunset, one could also place a small corner with a bench in the southwest of the property. I would also find it good if the room "Arbeiten" were to get an east window.

The west terrace of variant 2 definitely extends into the building boundary area... not sure how that looks regarding approval.

One should also check from which directions the unpleasant winds mainly come. The garage in the west could then become the well-protected corner.

It is true that from around 6 p.m. the 3m high garage wall will cast quite a shadow on the terrace (on a large part of the terrace) and by 7 p.m. at the latest the terrace will be completely in the shade. Regarding the building boundary: even if the terrace should be outside the building boundary, in my opinion one can quite realistically obtain an exemption from the building authority to build the terrace directly on the boundary, if the farmer from the neighboring field agrees and if, as I have suggested, the garage is made only 6m wide and instead the full 9m deep, you not only get a much better space at the back for parking than this elongated strip with 7x6m but also manage to fit a terrace of 3x6m on the west side and 5x6m on the south side in an L shape.

If garages can be made wider than 6 m and need to accommodate 2 cars, I would also make them wider instead of longer.

I had assumed 9 m garage width and exactly 6 m depth .. because then the additional area from both the garden AND street side can be better accessed. And, if you don’t build a boundary garage like in Variante 4, the access to the additional storage area in the garage can even be on the side. In my opinion, this is always the better option, especially if bikes etc. need to be stored as well. Because with today’s commonly wide cars, maneuvering past the cars is always a hassle.

And, the east side provides light in the house all year round.

I think I would plan to rotate the house by 90 degrees.. that way there is space in all directions.. and you don't get so close to the boundaries either in the east or west. The kitchen window on the short side could, for example, face the street.
