Man, man, man... one wrong headline, and the OP gets dissed here.

I find this a bit exaggerated now. I prefer a questioner to come along with a pencil sketch rather than either this Sweethome or an approval planning. The first is unreadable (I personally refuse to say anything detailed about it), the second shows that the consultation here is already too late. As some builders know here: you don’t pay little money for this planning!

One can patiently respond to what is available. Or ask where the slope has gone here.

Uh, and because he’s an “expert,” he’s allowed to behave here like a HB little man? He can also ask nicely. The real expert also asks factually and nicely.

What expectations does the OP have? None of the users here expect you or others to produce a multi-page elaboration on pros and cons of this draft. The OP wants to know if the hallway is nice or if the windows on the upper floor are not chosen too large.

Yes, that would be very nice. But in 80% of the cases it’s not like that here.

Yeah, then you can simply stay away from such a thread instead of getting annoyed here in multiple posts.

We had that discussion yesterday already. If the questionnaire is not filled out or the measurements are missing (or the whole slope story here), then you can keep it very short and tell the OP that. Then you click away. After the OP has provided the missing info, you can resume the thread.

The answer in a forum without experts may always reflect the quality of the question. We are not paid here!

Perhaps it would actually be better to just read along and limit myself to the Haubilder thread. Then at least I wouldn't have to get upset about the Elsas of this world anymore.

Sorry, but why do people have to get upset about users at all here, as long as they don’t personally attack anyone?!

In my opinion, the person should simply ignore the thread (if they can’t relate to it), instead of expressing such unfriendliness or politely pointing it out.

Hello everyone,
first of all, thank you for your feedback!
I understand that maybe a few pieces of information are still missing, unfortunately, apart from the ridge heights as indicated in the picture "Grundstück", I don’t have any other drawings yet.
Maybe I wasn’t completely clear, we would like to submit the building application soon but we are currently still in the design phase. Construction will be without a general contractor and the financing would, based on a first rough estimate, be possible for the house dimensions and our requirements.

From the chat history I have taken the following for myself:
- Possibly reconsider hallway size
- Mini office questionable if useful
- Slanting wall on the ground floor possibly not so nice

Here are a few more thoughts on the plan:
- The office is intended as an "emergency" solution should a third child come along, which is not excluded :-), we also considered an office in the attic but find a solution on the upper floor better
- The driveway is located in the south (see picture), to the east there is only a public footpath

Best regards
Thomas

I like the idea of the West roof terrace. However, I would shift all the rooms on the upper floor and place the access to the roof terrace through the office. This way, hallway space is saved, which (by cleverly rearranging the other rooms) can benefit the office.

If someone strikes the wrong tone, the OP is welcome to snap back, but a third party doesn't necessarily have to, in my opinion ;-) An 80s wall can definitely be handled by a modern floor plan. I want to put a question mark behind the head height above the bed and bathtub; otherwise, I find the design quite well developed. You can do a lot differently, tastes vary, of course. In any case, I have seen many much more awkward designs here (where you can only get to the toilet backwards, can't open closet doors, or similar). In your case, I only see somewhat too thickly drawn interior walls, but that's a good thing, then you gain a few centimeters of room width everywhere during fine-tuning.
