Thank you Maria for the hint! We hadn’t thought about that before.

I just looked at the plans again. The higher knee wall is noticeable in the south view. The exterior wall on the upper floor looks somehow bare. What do you think? In the children's room (room 2) we still want to install a knee wall window.

There is no space for this in the bedroom because the bed would be in the way.

Already too late? Yes, a second window in the children's room would not be bad, I would treat myself to that. In the bedroom, however, one window should be sufficient.

Thank you for the feedback! We have now received the plans for the building application from our architect and wanted to finalize them by the end of October.

Changes made...
A "normal" window is now planned in the office.

In the children's rooms and the bedroom, knee wall windows are now planned. I still have concerns about our bed in the bedroom. The window will be hidden behind the headboard.

The size of the children’s rooms has been adjusted. This results in the walk-in closet being only 6.45 m^2 in size. Is that still sufficient?

The door to the kitchen was moved slightly towards the dining room. I have attached a view from the kitchen into the dining and living room.

A WAS was additionally planned in the bathroom. However, we are not sure if there will still be enough space left in the ground floor (bathroom). What do you think?

The west view and the two windows in the children's room were reduced in size. With the knee wall windows, it should be bright enough.

Do you have any final suggestions?

Thank you very much!
Björn

I still like it very much. The additional knee wall window in the children's room seems very sensible to me. In the master bedroom, rather less so, also because the bed is underneath. The question is whether you only sleep there or spend more time in this room? If yes, the additional window makes sense; otherwise, in my opinion, you could do without it. Then better have a small window in the dressing room. Will there also be a wardrobe in the bedroom? If yes, the dressing room is sufficient; otherwise, you would have to reconsider. After all, there is enough space in the bedroom.

Hello,

a clear room height of 2.51m on the ground floor would not be high enough for me; in such a large room on the ground floor, it feels oppressive, I think. I would rather make the knee wall in the attic lower if necessary.

Best regards
Sabine

2 things that catch my eye or that I don't like so much.

I don't really like the entrances to the children's rooms with a direct view of the wardrobes.

In the dressing room, I would definitely plan a window. As it is, it's a "dark hole".
