And, sketch in some furniture, especially the kitchen. The area isn't that huge, and you really have to plan carefully. I don't see an island there at first. A U-shape especially restricts cooking with more than one person.

We are arranging the kitchen as an L, as indicated in the floor plan, and a small peninsula of 1 x 1.2 meters with the front side on the west wall. The passage is then about 94 cm and distance 140 cm.

Thank you for taking the time to compare the versions of our designs. The cubic form is (unfortunately) fixed by now, because changes would probably cause considerable costs and delays (structural engineer would have to take another look, etc.). I agree with you on these points as well. However, we have been strongly grounded in recent months. In other words, when we discussed the first draft here in December, everything was still bright sunshine regarding construction costs, material and interest rates. We are glad to be able to finance a so far very reliable general contractor and an affordable solid house at a fixed price at all. The same house would currently probably cost 60-80k € more to build. That would be unaffordable for us and we would have to keep brooding in our rental apartment. I much prefer this - my - own home. In view of that, I am grateful for realistic suggestions.

I actually find facade greenery sympathetic (a civil engineer friend of mine recommended it right away), e.g. clematis or so - apparently there are also "pretty" ones. Does anyone know if it harms the ETICS and the insulation effect if I pierce the facade with wall hooks?

Here is the site plan again. It is not a through road. On the left is 1 neighbor, on the right there are 3 neighbors. Everything is very quiet. We want to leave 1 to 1.5 meters of space to the garage at the bottom and right edge of the building window. At the bottom end of planning road E there is no development due to a protected traditional orchard.
