What does point 5 mean by double parker? Is it supposed to mean that a double carport is not allowed?

By double parker these half car lifts are meant. The first car drives on it. The car lift goes up (the car is at least lifted from the rear and then another car can be parked in the same spot. In the better and more expensive ones, space underneath is also excavated so that the first car can leave again without the second car having to leave first. In the cheaper ones, it is like parking one behind the other, just with a smaller footprint. The development plan is probably intended to prevent morning maneuvering.

But in the sketch, there is not 5.20 m distance to the neighbor, is there?? I have not understood how wide the house is allowed to be so far, which makes it difficult for me to give you advice.

I already see two points: - with a narrower parking space you can design the side more nicely - also, a passage would be possible even if a car is parked there. With the bicycles, you currently can’t get to the tool shed if two cars are parked there. For me, it would be unacceptable to only access the bike if I first have to move the car. And with two doors (and also staggered ones), you can’t get a wheelbarrow into the garden either.

The distance regulation refers to the highest point. That is 13m. The minimum distance is 40% of the height, so 5.2m. For the other floors, like the ground floor, the distance can be less. The minimum distance is 3m. On the ground floor, a kind of cube therefore protrudes.

The doors will definitely be changed. We plan to park most of the time one behind the other, or even in front on the street. But with a double carport in winter, we would have the option to park side by side to save ourselves from scraping ice. As mentioned, the double carport is not set in stone.
