I completely agree with you. The alternative would really be an 87 cm door, in my opinion a stroller would also fit through (though I must admit I don’t know about twins).

Yes, and? Where is your problem again? If I am building/planning new, then the doors shouldn’t slam, right!? And still not acceptable!

I have no problem, you have one - which is also okay - but the question was whether the DIN has one.

So I'll say it straight away: as a blonde female, in case of fire I would most likely NOT take the escape route through the narrow hallway and two doors starting from the living room, but simply run outside through the [most likely existing in the living room] patio doors.

But that may be the simple and probably not very DIN-compliant blonde solution.

From a planning perspective, I find this door completely useless anyway and would dispose of it exactly there. Agree with the [GU] that they make a nice opening from the frame and they can keep the door for the next construction (I would find simply taking the door off the hinges silly, because then you always see the hinges).

After all, evolution gives blondes the certificate of being more robust than the theorists - at least in case of fire.
