Thank you very much for the quick and clear feedback. I actually made a mistake with the budget. The price limit for the loan is 450k€. We still have about 100k€ in equity. Own work will be added on top of that. We will do most of the electrical and gas/water work ourselves. Partly, we will also do the masonry and interior work ourselves. My father-in-law is a mason and the company he works for will most likely get the contract. However, I cannot yet estimate how much own work will be involved overall. Thank you for the suggestions. I had noted most of them as well. -The window in the stairwell is also a good suggestion, but I have no idea here since there is a fire protection wall on the west side. -The rooms in the attic would definitely get a roof window. Although, as mentioned above, the attic is to be completely redesigned. -The wall in the bedroom is supposed to be a low wall, but I am not completely satisfied with it either. I will provide the 2m line later this evening, although we will definitely increase the knee wall from 75cm to 110cm. Regards, Stegott.

What purpose is the wall supposed to serve? If it has no purpose, it doesn't matter how high it is. Then just leave it out.

Ok, then the situation with the budget really looks different. Somehow there is a problem on every floor. On one hand, too little space, on the other, space wasted. Maybe will come up with something.

The wall is there so that the bed or the nightstand does not stand in the middle of the room.

Do you actually have 2 cars or is one parking space just for the quota?

We actually have two cars. We had also considered parking the two cars one behind the other, but the municipality does not accept that. It would also be conceivable to plan the parking space in front of the house. We do not necessarily need a double carport.
