Floor plan single-family house, 200m2, 2 full floors, garage, without basement

Ah, there he is again, the caveman. In the end, we’re basically talking to a wall here anyway, but just for the sake of completeness: A guest only sleeps at your place sporadically and will manage the window. You use the room for yourself the rest of the time, and light is always better than no light, and light from two sides is best of all. No window behind you – my husband insisted on that too. So we made a compromise and set a narrow one high up, although I was against it. What can I say – he has since realized that it was nonsense. More light would have been nicer. The children excuse is ridiculous; you can also darken the room for hobbies. If the hobby ever becomes outdated, you can simply start another one with light.

It's a shame that the architect was only supposed to trace your design. With that budget, something really nice could have been planned.

But unfortunately, in such a case, the architect's creativity is well paid for but not desired.

How is cooking/eating to be understood? Are the chairs that are drawn there currently at the island? But that is wrong, and the table is the 140*320 piece on the left side? Or how is that meant?

The kitchen is in the west, in the middle the kitchen table with a bench and on the other side armchairs. I have attached and described it again, maybe it is then more understandable.
