It's a shame that the architect was only supposed to trace your design. With that budget, something really nice could have been planned. But unfortunately, in such a case, the architect's creativity is well paid for but not desired.

Actually, I think that because of the large window, enough light comes into the living room. It’s the south side, and that side is full of a large window. But we will think about it again. Thanks for your opinion!

How is cooking/eating to be understood? The chairs that are drawn in there are currently at the island? But that is wrong, and the table is the 140*320 piece on the left side? Or how is that meant?

I do think the architect should draw what the client wants. The floor plan is not final yet, which is why I posted it here to get feedback and other perspectives (from you). We have already drawn quite a few floor plans ourselves (using a floor plan program), and they were also very different. We then couldn’t see the forest for the trees.
But in truth, we really like this one best.

What would you specifically do differently? Everything?

The kitchen is in the west, in the middle the kitchen table with a bench and on the other side armchairs. I have attached and described it again, maybe it is then more understandable.

Ah, now it makes sense. I was completely confused there.
And does the storage space suffice? Those are relatively few cabinets for such a large house. I assume to the left in front of the large window there will also be a work surface and possibly the sink?
Start thinking about the kitchen planning early. We have the oven and dishwasher built in + refrigerator – that already takes up parts of 3 tall cabinets. Without a pantry, you can still use a few more for storing supplies in the kitchen. Is that enough for you?
