I understand that you don't want a discussion about the sense or nonsense of a pantry. However, you give the impression that you expect the same advantages from the pantry in the new house as those of your current one. And that is simply no longer possible due to modern construction methods. As a storage room for clutter, okay, but for storing food it simply will not be able to fulfill its original purpose.

A small update from me:
After we visited the kitchen builder and bathroom planner, I have now updated the floor plan accordingly. Especially the entrance area to the kitchen should now be more coherent.
The stairs should also fit now.

-At the moment we are still considering whether to do without the terrace door in the living area, since you can get outside anyway through the large sliding door next to it.
-We have also somewhat moved away from the skylights by now and will probably forego them (ceiling now completely over the upper floor)
-The wood stove is not yet planned in detail, we have an appointment for that soon

I would appreciate some opinions

The area in front of the shower is certainly often wet and does not make it pleasant to use the toilet.

Best regards

Hm... no one else has any opinion or suggestions for improvement? Or is there something you like?

Where does the E-cabinet with this 2-meter drop area in front go? It must have a safety distance of about 2 meters (or was it 1.80?) in front in case the electrician gets an electric shock.

Otherwise, a note: it can eventually be annoying to enter the living room only through the kitchen. Personally, I have nothing against it. And upstairs it's still a disaster. Please don't ask why or how to change it. Best to redo everything up there.

The problem with above is the floor plan below with the corner at the bottom right. That one is really hard to access from above. I also think above ... well
