The furnished upper floor cannot really be compared like that. The 2m line is important in order to assess Katja's actually sensible proposed change. The drawing of the furnished upper floor rather shows mini desks, etc.

A coat rack under the rising staircase? There is practically no height under the stairs. This extends from the 1st to about the 6th/7th step. At its highest point, there is a maximum of 100 cm of height under the stairs. The staircase is probably not intended to be bordered by a floor-to-ceiling wall – right?

Current planning with a current furnishing sketch would save a lot of inquiries.

I would change the direction of the staircase. And above all, I would remove the short wall by the kitchen! It is already too short in the shell construction for a 60 cm countertop from the utility room wall, and the kitchen simulation also looks as if the back of the peninsula is not flush with the wall. I therefore only see offsets and difficulties integrating a wall whose purpose is completely unclear to me.

ascending can mean the second part of the stairs, which would be logical.
It does not speak of the stair starting point.

However, I would also turn them... and of course change the crooked hallway upstairs, as Katja has drawn it.

However, with the question from the original poster, everything should already be somehow approved in the design – at least that’s how it reads.

Thank you very much so far.

The wall in the kitchen will indeed be removed as a result of the kitchen planning. We will then have to see where the light switches will go.

Unfortunately, the staircase cannot be rotated because it continues further into the converted attic. Otherwise, you would come out not in the middle but under the slant.

How practical do you find it if you can only enter the bedroom through the dressing room?

Attached is the floor plan with the 2 m line as well as the change of the hallway, as we would see it. If we pull the wall all the way to the stairs, it will be too tight at the top from our perspective.

Mmh, do you get used to the 77cm doors to the bedroom? I already thought that the 2m is the reason for the smaller doors. It's not a drama, but I wouldn’t like that. I would push on it until there is enough space. Stairs towards the top of the plan, bay window wider, bathroom narrower, knee wall higher – I would find something.
