Of course, everyone has different priorities!
But one could consider here that the postman and whoever can look into the quite central hallway, where there will be a lot of movement (corridor to the utility room, to the toilet, to the kitchen, and upstairs). Starting the morning quickly naked with coffee and then going to the bathroom is also not ;)
You can arrange it so that you don’t necessarily place the couch along the sightline ;)
But otherwise, besides thoughtful furnishing, you simply use a door that does not openly display everything.

If it bothers someone that there is a wall at the end of the hallway, then you can hang a large mirror on the wall. If it bothers someone that they see themselves, then there's nothing more one can do :)

At the end of the hallway, with a view from the entrance, there is also a wall. There hangs a beautiful picture with backlighting. I myself would also not like to have a view into the living room / garden, if only so that "walk-in visitors" such as, for example, any fundraisers and representatives or also craftsmen do not see every mess in the living room and garden (unavoidable with a child). As soon as you open the door, frosted glass no longer helps.

Good idea! :) That would then be the answer to: How do you make a long hallway even longer? In this discussion or this design, the dining area is too narrow anyway and the kitchen is too dark and too closed off from the garden. If you revise it well, a different design will come out anyway. Let's see :)

My goodness ... the things people worry about :) After all, you live in the house.

Anyway, our front door is closed 99.9(9)% of the time. When you enter through our front door, your gaze falls on two more doors with glass panels. One door leads to the living room, the other door to the kitchen. These doors are also equipped with frosted glass, but are framed with clear glass. The door to the living room is even equipped on the left and right sides with floor-high display cabinet inserts, but they do not offer much of a view.

Placing an 8 m long corridor in a new building is a no-go, terrible or whatever you want to call it.
