Can you explain that? The TV area or the living room doesn't have any contact points with the rest at all.

I am currently involved in several forum projects on the borderline between astonishment and shock at the near paralysis-like sluggish speeds of the planning development.

Sorry, that was a few jumps of thought all at once: For a utility room, we would not put up an extra wall for more privacy, but for a bathroom we would. So if we were to swap the utility room and the bathroom again, the corridor on the left side of the plan would be removed, but the partition wall for the bathroom that you suggested on the right side of the plan would be added. In this scenario, the living room would then be 5m wide and you would walk through the TV picture on the way to the utility room.

One of the disadvantages of building with an architect and individual contracting, at least for us: No one is putting a gun to your head...

I almost want to say I don't understand this post 101%. The awarding is still at the stage of planning not yet finalized, still in the future, goes even faster with an architect than without him, and does not take longer as individual contracts. And when the time comes, you naturally have the binding deadlines of the offers breathing down your neck.

I can follow the scenario, but not the part about walking through the TV screen: not with anyone, if kitchen-dining-living room (or living-dining-kitchen) is in the upper part of the plan, if you would include the hallway in the planning area.
