The stairs to the attic I would design as a pull-out staircase in the hallway in favor of the bathroom.
Due to the full basement, I consider the attic at most redundant. At best, I would access it via a pull-out staircase to a crawl space floor and otherwise keep the top floor open (with "tree houses" above the children's rooms).
The living area would be way too open for me and the access to the WC too conspicuous. Sitting at the dining table and looking into the toilet would be an absolute no-go for me. I would therefore extend the TV wall so that the toilet door is shielded.

I really like the living area, though. I agree with you about the toilet. I would shield the door to the dining area with a wall. I would use a double door for the hallway/open space. Where would the wardrobe be? At the stairs going up?
