Your present is and remains the focus, including your budget and your foot. Reflect on yourself and consider very carefully how your foot injury limits you. Load, sure footing, distance, standing. Note down what has been difficult for you since the injury started and where things are problematic in the current living situation.

Thank you very much for the previous feedback - I will do the homework and soon provide an update, which hopefully will be better and also contain more details about us and our ideas.

Was a building envelope specified here?

Currently, our preliminary building inquiry is being processed, so far there is no development plan, but "insertion" according to §34BauG - in this regard, there is also no building envelope, however, the building authority has already requested upon initiation the preservation of a "green strip" on the north side (main street), which of course restricts us unnecessarily and is equivalent to a building envelope. We will know more about this after receiving the decision on our preliminary building inquiry.

Looks good, but unfortunately it does not have the necessary study in the room offerings.

You still have the attic. In the model house, a staircase is installed instead of a storage room. I would reduce the floor area and move the child’s room and office upstairs. Or is it foreseeable that you won’t be able to walk anymore with your foot?
